WAFL Equipment Library

The Winter Active for Life Equipment Library offers a small inventory of cross-country skis, boots, poles and snowshoes that can be borrowed for the winter season as well as Kicksleds that can be borrowed for up to 2 weeks.

Instead of a library card, eligible borrowers take out loans with their RPAY Community/Associate membership.

Follow the online steps below to find out if you are eligible and to request a loan from the Equipment Library. 

For cross country ski equipment loans, priority is given to rural Yukon and requests must be received by October 31.

As we are transitioning to a new system, our online WAFL Equipment Request is not available until September.

Step 1: EXPLORE

Carefully read the Introduction to the WAFL Equipment Library to understand who is eligible and how the Library works.

Step 2: JOIN

Become an RPAY Affiliate member or renew your membership that expired August 31.

Step 3: REQUEST 

Use our online WAFL Equipment Request and Agreement Form to tell us what you would like to borrow. The deadline to request cross country ski equipment is October 31.

Step 4: SUBMIT 

Download and fill out these forms. Upload them with your online request or email them to the WAFL Programmer.

Step 5: REPORT 

By March 31st, complete the required WAFL Equipment Report using the link you will be given. Review this Sample WAFL Report to know what is expected.
